The building overlooks the SS. Annunziata square and was purchased by the Mordini family in the 18th century
On 30 may 1819, Antonio Mordini was born there - a politician of the Risorgimento and Minister of Public Works of the Kingdom of Italy from April 1869 until December of that year.Today the building is home to one of the most important Italian archives dedicated to the Risorgimento.
