GALLICANO in GRANDE (literally GALLICANO in GREAT) comes from our willpower to make stand out, one picture after another, the beauty of the district of Gallicano, a tiny village in the province of Lucca that becomes GREAT thanks to its richness in history and its distinctive traits. 

It is an area that, from Trassilico's Este Fortress to the tiny and lovely fraction of Cardoso, will surprise you with the authenticy that you will find, with its hidden landscapes and with the watchful gaze of the love mount Pania which has always been a worthy gateway to Garfagnana's beauties. 

The Contest GALLICANO in GRANDE was born to give its participants the opportunity, through the photographic language, to contribute to the creation of an artistic framework able to attract people to this area and its uniquenesses.
