The castle of Cantalupo

The castle of Cantalupo stood on a hill of Mount della Bandita in the Middle Ages: it was probably destroyed following the struggles between Guelphs and Ghibellines which also affected the Massetan territory in the 14th century. Today, in Casalini, there are powerful remains of its walls that delimit a large area within which many traces of its buildings can be identified.
