CHURCH OF SAINT ILARIO

The Church of Sant’Ilario is a small, very old rural building, located in the locality of Barbasciano since the thirteenth century. The church has a single nave plan that ends with a semicircular apse, while the roof is gabled. Unfortunately today it is in a state of neglect, but inside it is still possible to see a fresco with the Madonna and Child and Saints Ilario and Lorenzo. The tempera is probably datable to the sixteenth century.
