Benabbio

The village of Benabbio is located at 479 m above sea level.

If you continue along the road that passes through the village you can reach Collodi and Valleriana. It takes about 10 minutes to get to Benabbio from the main town and the road has a beautiful panoramic view of La Villa.

As you get closer to the town the landscape becomes more mountainous with forests and acacia woods. Banabbio is rich in olive groves, a tradition for its inhabitants who still today are dedicated to the cultivation of olives. Among the splendours and peculiarities of Benabbio we find even an Eden theatre, built at the end of the 19th century, reflecting the inhabitants' passion for acting, art and music. Benabbio’s Philharmonic group has been active since 1876.
